Stichting Z / foundation Z

slaws worked on numerous design projects for Stichting Z, including logo restyling, magazine layouts, annual reports, folders, flyers, advertisements, photography, illustrations, and photo editorials. Stichting Z publishes Z!, Amsterdam’s street newspaper, which helps homeless individuals and those at risk of homelessness earn an income and reintegrate into society. All design work was carried out with a strong social focus, reflecting the foundation’s mission to empower vendors, support self-esteem, establish routines, and foster social connections while providing a modest income.
STREETS – The offbeat touristguide to Amsterdam

Design concept and layout for The Streets, a small A6+ pocket booklet offering an offbeat guide to Amsterdam. Covering Noord, Ost, South, West, and the outskirts, it features Eric Hammink’s circular metro/tram map, which inspired the iconography throughout. Richly illustrated and playfully designed, The Streets provides an informative experience and invites readers to explore the city in a fresh and unexpected way.

The Streets was proudly presented to Femke Halsema, Mayor of Amsterdam, by Stichting Z! at the annual Vrienden van Z! event.
